Scouting camp is about more than experiencing life in the great outdoors. It is an opportunity for students to develop resilience, independence, and consideration for others.
Over three days, students participated in a variety of activities, including marching drills, national awareness education, discipline training, cooking together, and other activities that fostered a sense of togetherness. They also learned to face discomfort, try new things, and understand how to work together and persevere in challenging situations.
Learning extended beyond theory. Through hands-on experiences, students learned to appreciate others, lead with responsibility, and serve with sincerity within their community. They also learned to give thanks for the blessings God has given them, which they may come to appreciate more deeply when familiar comforts are no longer available.
May this Scouting Camp provide valuable lessons that help students continue to grow into individuals who appreciate, lead, and serve others within their families, communities, and society.
